Spring Dance Concert

May 14th & 15th

MYP DANCE & THEATRE

Ms. DeNoma
Room 509

As an IB World School, our Performing Arts units are organized around our big idea, the Statement of Inquiry, which helps us to focus our learning, develop curiosity, and promote critical thinking.   In our current unit we are investigating the impact of time, space, and place on genre.  We will explore how historical events, societal norms, and other factors influence the evolution of dance. Our exploration of these concepts revolves around the following inquiry statement:  Dance genres change, evolve and adapt due to influences such as orientation in space and time.
